Tanya Hébert

Tanya Hébert

Tanya Hébert is a registered Speech and Language Pathologist as well as a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist (BCCS).  She worked at The Moncton Hospital from 1998 to 2005, primarily with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Subsequently, she was one of the professionals recruited by the University of New Brunswick to help create and teach the provincially funded training program in Applied Behaviour Analysis known as the Autism Intervention Training Program.

She then founded and led a provincially funded agency which provided intensive evidence-based intervention services to preschool aged children with ASD, a behavioural intervention practice working with children, youth, and adults with special needs and their families (with a variety of diagnoses), and finally a learning center focusing on the cognitive rehabilitation of students with learning challenges.  Tanya conducts speech, language, and learning assessments as well as develops and implements individualized programming for individuals with delays or disorders.

Lisa Hebert has been working with individuals with special needs since 2000.  Her experience and training in Applied Behaviour Analysis is extensive; she has had the opportunity to learn from many practitioners in the field, complete various mentorships, and attend multiple training sessions over the course of her 17 years of practice. Lisa began her career working with youth and adults in the behavioural units of local residential facilities and began her work specifically with individuals along the autism spectrum in 2004.  She is certified in the Autism Intervention Training Program and has taught components of the practicum with UNB – CEL. Lisa worked as a Behaviour & Learning Consultant for the preschool autism program and later as Assistant Clinical Director overseeing all clinical services. Lisa is a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist (BCCS) who is active in the learning center which focuses on cognitive rehabilitation of students with learning challenges.  Additionally, Lisa oversees daily operations and is the contact person for HILS services.

Kristy Steele is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) who has worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in various capacities since 2006.  She has completed extensive coursework in the field of ABA through both Cambridge College and Brandman University and also holds a certificate from the Autism Intervention Training Program at the University of New Brunswick. Kristy has experience working with children, youth, and adults in clinical, residential, and psychiatric settings. She works with individuals who have varying diagnoses and levels of behavioural severity. Kristy also has experience working with other agencies to build capacity for behavioural intervention within their teams.

Brigitte Hanna is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). She has substantial research experience in the field of Psychology, particularly factors affecting parenting and their relationship to various child outcomes. Brigitte began her experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) by providing intensive behaviour intervention to preschool age children. She now works with school-age children and teenagers with a variety of behavioural challenges in both home and school settings across the province of New Brunswick. Brigitte conducts functional assessments, writes behaviour plans, and trains school teams and parents to implement the plans with success. She has completed training in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and is a member of the Atlantic Provinces Association for Behaviour Analysis.

Erica Marney is a Behavior and Learning Consultant who has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in various capacities since 2005. She has completed extensive coursework in the field of ABA through Cambridge College and is currently completing her M.A. degree in Special Education with a concentration in ABA at Ball State University. She participated in and holds a certificate in the Autism Intervention Training Program at the University of New Brunswick. Erica has experience with children, youth, and adults in clinical, residential, school, and other community settings. She currently works with individuals with a range of diagnoses and behavioural challenges. Under the supervision of qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Erica has assisted in completing functional assessments and writing and implementing behavior plans. She has completed various workshops and conferences related to her field and is a member of the Atlantic Provinces Association for Behaviour Analysis International.

Francine Melanson

Francine Melanson has been working with preschool and school-age children at the Hébert Centre since 2006. She has particular expertise in the areas of language development and social skills. Francine received her Clinical Supervisor certification from the University of New Brunswick in 2009 and she provides consultation for learning and behavior management in a variety of settings such as schools, daycares, homes and the community. She has contributed significantly to the development of play groups and social group curriculums and is skilled in creating learning activities to teach individual and group goals.

Robyn Conrad is a Registered Behaviour Technician who has been working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) since 2009. She has provided intervention services for children on the Autism spectrum, as well as school aged youth with significant behavioural and learning challenges. Robyn currently works with individuals with a range of diagnoses and behavioural challenges, and provides direct support to residential, educational and other clinical treatment teams. In addition, Robyn contributes a significant amount of time in the community working with children and youth in a volunteer capacity. Furthermore, Robyn has been an active board member of the Autism Resource Center in Moncton since 2016.

Angelica Hebert is a Behavior and Learning Consultant who has over 5 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has worked primarily with preschool age clients in various settings (centre, daycare, home, school transition). As of October 2017, Angelica expanded her client base to include school age and teenage clients as well. She supervises HILS Behaviour Interventionists and provides training and support to school teams (educational assistants, resource teachers) as well. Angelica has completed Level 1 of the provincial Autism Training Framework and has also completed the QBS Safety-Care Specialist training.

Tim LeBlanc is a Registered Behaviour Technician who has been working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for over 7 years. He has provided early intervention to preschool age clients through agencies in both Fredericton and Moncton. Tim also has extensive experience working with children and teenagers who engage in challenging behaviours. In addition, he is a learning coach who helps individuals become more comfortable learners by strengthening underlying learning processes.

Annie Roy is a Registered Behaviour Technician who has been working at the Hébert Centre since 2013. She first worked as a behaviour interventionist with preschool clients and now works primarily with school-age children and teenagers. She implements programs directly with clients and also provides training for school teams, community support workers, and parents. Annie has completed a number of courses in the Education department at the Université de Moncton as well as many professional development workshops at the Hébert Centre.

Natasha Martin has a combined experience of over 9 years at the Hébert Centre. She has worked in various capacities, including as a behaviour interventionist for preschool clients and trainer for new interventionists. Natasha now focuses her time on responding to client inquiries and ensuring that services begin in a timely manner. She has completed courses in both Psychology and Management at the university level.
